I have had a lot happen for me this last month. I signed two contracts for stories to come out at the end of this year and I launched a new website with some short stories on it. I really love what I'm doing.

I was afraid I was going to have to move, but it looks like I'm okay for now, at least. I don't mind moving, but I need a stable place for a little while so my only worry can be working on my stories.

More fun stuff to come, stay tuned....

So, first off, today is my birthday. Yay!!! I'm a whopping 31 years old. I'm still having my sale on "The 13th Witch". Buy it here and I'll give you "Silver Bullet" for free.

Next up, my friend Shiloh Walker is holding a contest to celebrate the release of her book.

One woman, one man, and a love that won’t let either of them go.

Born on the wrong side of the tracks and dealt a fair share of hardship, Nikki Kline never gives up a fight. Even when her reason to keep going is ripped from her, Nikki tries desperately to hang on. But when the man who broke Nikki’s heart comes back into her life she doesn’t know how much she can take. Especially since that man seems determined to win back her damaged heart.

Wade Lightfoot is a man who knows he’s made more mistakes than most. As much as he would like to repair the damage he’s done to those he loves, Wade also knows there is no going back. But when he sets out to put things right the last thing he’s prepared to find out is that he had a son. A son he’ll never get the chance to meet.

When the truth is out and all the old wounds are bared, it seems impossible that Nikki and Wade will find their way back to each other. But true love is an undeniable force that even past hurts can’t destroy.

This book has been previously published and has been revised from its original release.

Warning: This title contains heartbreaking tragedy, lies and deception, and a scorching passion that nothing can deny.

Now the fun stuff, you can win a Sony Reader for your reading fun. This means you can read "No Longer Mine" and "The 13th Witch", hint hint. :)

Good luck!!

Wow, has it really been that long? I've been super busy and have a bit to share with you all this new year. "The 13th Witch" is finally ready to be released. This has been a year of pitching it back and forth and figuring out what to tweek and what to leave.

This story is about a girl who finds out that she is a witch and not just any witch, one of the few that can really change the way that magick is done. This is the first story in the three part series for Young adults. Check it out and get your copy on the 26th!

I also have the short story "Silver Bullet" coming out April 9th and "Shadows" as well, but that one is a free read to enjoy. You can read it here at that time.

I wanted to give you guys a little bit from one of my projects. Some people have been wondering what "Silver Moon" was all about and what kind of story it really is. I have a little bit that I thought I would share with you guys. Here it is.

He reached up and pulled my hair out of the ponytail that I'd had it in. It fell around my shoulders as I looked into his eyes. They drew me in and I wanted nothing more than to be back here with him, but I knew that was all in the past.

I pulled back from him and took a breath. He just stood there waiting. I didn't know what to say.

“I can't be here, Steven. I have other things that I need to be doing.” I crossed my arms in front of me, hoping that he would get the point and stay back.

He didn't.

“But you are here.” He moved towards me and there was a flutter of heat that formed between us. I tried to shake the feeling, but the bond that we had was stronger than anything else that I have ever felt.

“Steven, why don't you introduce us to your friend.” A voice chimed behind him. That broke the mood and I could breathe again. I looked at the girl that had spoke as she walked up from behind. She had another man trailing behind her. She was a short perky girl with short black hair that clung to her head. She was dressed in a short blood red tank top and a pair of tight jeans. Her shoes were high heeled biker boots that had to be hard to walk in through the water that was under us.

Steven turned his head to look her way before he spoke. “This is Rose. Rose, this is Claudia.” The girl was clearly a fairly new vampire and she was enjoying Steven almost too much.

“Where did you pick up the tramp?” I hissed feeling a little jealous that Steven was hauling around a new vampire. Claudia gave me a dirty look, but didn't dare to say anything back. Smart girl.

“She was dieing and I simply gave her a new life.” He said in his sexy smooth voice

“To bad for you.” I said keeping my eyes on her. She moved to Steven taking his hand and smiling at me. Maybe she wasn't so smart.

“It was nice catching up with you, Steven, but I have to go.” I started to walk away, when he was in standing in front of me.

“I don't want you to leave, yet.” He said holding his hand out to me.

“I have to. I'm not here on vacation. I'm here to catch a werewolf.” I knew as soon as I'd said it that I should have kept it to myself.

“They have my Rose hunting a werewolf?” He sounded pissed off at the council and maybe at me.

“I wanted to.” I lied. Steven eyed me as I spoke. “I need to go. My car is waiting.”

“I'll take you home.” He said almost to fast.

“You don't have a car.”

“Have you forgotten how to get around.” He smiled as he spoke. “You have been gone to long and have forgotten how fast vampires can move.”

I remembered all to well. I just didn't want to mess up my heels. “I'll take the car. It was nice to see you again, Steven.” I hurried past him and to where Mark was waiting.

I'm getting ready for the muse writers conference online. It's a wonderful conference that I really like going to. I also scored a nonfiction book contract and am getting ready to start working on that.

My novel is finished and ready to go. I'm still tweaking it like always, but it's ready to start shopping around.

I have still been working a lot. This is my first slow day in a long time so I'm just kind of relaxing. I resubmitted the witch novella a couple of weeks ago and hope that they feel it's up to par now. I also have been working on Silver Moon, a new novel that I'm doing. It scored a pitch with a publisher and I'm working hard on getting it most of the way done before the pitch.

I also have been working hard on my freelance job so that I can pay all my bills. They are not to bad, but I still am afraid that I can't make them all.

August 28th, 2009

I've been writing a lot of articles so that I can get started on moving. I'm excited about my new house and the space that I'll be able to really use. I've been cramped up for far to long and need to have something bigger. I even get an office to work in instead of fighting with my kids for quiet.

I just took a new look at that witch novella and could see that there are some issues with it. First it just doesn't hook you at the beginning. I think that is a big problem, so I have been working on that, and the other problem that I see is that it's just not for adults. I think I tried to jam it into an adult market when it's meant for the YA area.

Yippy, I figured it out!!

I have been busy lately writing articles and getting more chapters done on my Hunters story. I also had written a witch novella that had been out to publishers. I decided that I'm going to take a new look at it and see if there is anything else that I can improve on with it. I like the story and the people that are in it so I don't want to let it go just yet. I may darken it or lighten it a bit. I think it's just stuck in the middle and doesn't know what way to go.

August 15th 2009

I have been writing on the free web novel a lot here lately. Look for a new chapter every week to enjoy. A also have been thinking about taking a couple of my other short stories and offering them to the world as well.

I hope that you are all enjoying the books and stories that I'm doing. I work hard on them and really love the people that live in those worlds. I'm going to be doing a whole series on Hunters. The one that is at the blog is free and depending on how many people visit and support it, the next one could be free as well.

Stacey

I have been very busy here lately. Between writing my book and submitting articles and short stories, I've had only a little room to breath. My book seems to take up a lot of my time and I'm hoping that it will be as good as I want it to be. I have been working on it for a really long time and think that it will be great.

I also have a line on a publisher that might be interested in some of my shorts. This makes my day. I love the fiction side of writing and would love to do that only instead of all the nonfiction articles that I've been doing.
